About Lux Dispatch
Lux Dispatch is the technology publication of Dockl Media, published at lux.dockl.com. We cover hardware, software, AI research and the culture that grows around them. Founded 2019. No investors, no ad network, no venture capital.
What we do
We publish between four and eight pieces a day. Most are short: a benchmark we ran ourselves, a supply-chain detail that got buried, a correction to a claim that was repeated too many times. A few are long, when the subject earns it.
We buy our own hardware. If a manufacturer sends us a review unit, we say so in the piece and we send it back afterwards.
How we're funded
Reader subscriptions to the daily brief, plus direct sponsorships from companies whose products we actually use. Sponsorships are labelled at the top of the piece and never appear inside editorial copy. Nobody pays for a review.
Who we are
- Mira Kessler — editor, hardware. Berlin.
- Tomas Rehn — software and tooling. Lisbon.
- Ada Okafor — AI and research. Toronto.
- Jules Ferrand — games and platforms. Berlin.
- Nadia Farrow — culture and labour. Toronto.
Corrections
Every correction is appended to the piece it applies to, with a date. Nothing is quietly edited. If you spot something, tell us.
